GeoTagImage operates browser-based image metadata tools, user accounts, paid plans and educational content. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the service.

Images and photo data

The Geo Tag Image and EXIF Checker tools are designed to process supported image operations in your browser. Your image files are not intentionally uploaded to GeoTagImage servers by those tool functions. Location searches or map features may communicate with the configured map/geocoding provider.

Account information

If you register, the site stores account information needed to provide access, including your name or display name, optional profile photo, email address, password hash, login/session data, plan status and usage records.

Usage, login and operational analytics

The service records first-party operational counts needed to run and improve the tool, including page views, unique site visitors, visits to the Geo Tag Image tool, successful account logins, plan status, and the number of images successfully geotagged. Geotag usage is counted separately for Free, Pro and Premium plans. For guests, a one-way hashed identifier derived from technical request data is used so usage can be counted without storing the raw identifier in the analytics table. These analytics do not store or inspect the contents of your uploaded images.

The service may also process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request timestamps and security events to enforce usage limits, prevent abuse and maintain service reliability.

Feedback and support messages

If you use the site feedback form, the site processes the name, email address, selected topic, page URL and message you submit so the support team can respond. Feedback is sent to the configured support mailbox and should not include passwords, PINs, OTPs, private keys or other secret credentials.

Payments

Paid plans use manual verification. Available methods may include JazzCash, bank transfer and Binance when configured by the site administrator. The site may store your selected payment method, transaction/reference ID, optional payment note, optional payment proof screenshot, order reference, amount, verification status and plan dates. Never submit a PIN, OTP, password, CVV or other secret banking credential.

Cookies and local storage

WordPress may use essential cookies for login, session management and security. Browser storage may be used for tool preferences or local usage information. If analytics or advertising services are enabled, additional cookies or local storage may be used subject to applicable consent requirements.

Advertising and Google AdSense

GeoTagImage may use Google AdSense after advertising is enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers as a result of ad serving. Google and its advertising partners may use advertising cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted, based on visits to this site and/or other sites. Users can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. If other advertising vendors or networks are enabled, their use of cookies and opt-out options will be disclosed as applicable.

Where legally required, consent must be obtained before non-essential cookies or local storage are used for advertising or personalization. GeoTagImage may use Google’s Privacy & messaging / consent tools or another compliant consent platform for regions where consent is required.

Third-party services

The site may use services such as map/geocoding providers, font/icon CDNs, hosting/security services and email delivery. Each provider may receive technical request information necessary to deliver its service. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.

Data retention

Account, order and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain financial records and satisfy legal obligations. Payment proof should be retained only as long as needed for verification, support and record-keeping.

Your choices

You may contact the site operator to request access, correction or deletion of account information where applicable, subject to legal, security and record-keeping requirements.

Children

The service is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental consent is legally required.

Changes

This policy may be updated when site features, advertising, payment methods, legal requirements or third-party integrations change. The updated date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are published.
