FAQ

Image Compressor FAQ

Can I compress an image to an exact size such as 100 KB?

Yes. Use Target Size mode and select a preset. The compressor searches for a useful quality level that stays below the chosen target when the format supports quality-based encoding.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

The compression workflow is designed to run in your browser. The source image does not need to be uploaded to a remote compression service.

Does compression remove EXIF or GPS data?

Browser re-encoding generally creates a new image file without the original EXIF block. If metadata matters, verify the downloaded result with the EXIF Checker.

What are the daily limits?

Free includes 5 compressed images per day, Pro 20 per day, Premium 60 per day, and Annual Unlimited has no daily processing cap.
